Loose Skin
Loose skin is a common condition that occurs as a natural part of the aging process, but can also occur due to factors such as excessive sun exposure, significant weight loss, smoking, and genetics. As we age, our skin loses its natural elasticity, which causes it to become loose and saggy. Collagen and elastin fibers, which provide structure and elasticity to the skin, begin to break down, causing the skin to lose its firmness and ability to bounce back. Additionally, the production of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that helps to keep the skin hydrated and plump, decreases with age.
How can we treat it?
Targeting just production of collagen and elastin is usually not enough to effectively treat loose skin. Our protocol considers the cell response to the treatment, therefore each client goes through a detailed consultation, by which we try to understand the origin of the dysfunction, being our first aim to balance the body homeostasis with specifics strategies to get the optimum cell response. After, we tailor a specific protocol using a combination of treatments.
